Shortly after graduating with a BSMT from Texas A&M, Scott joined HTS in 1984.  After many years of service to HTS and its manufacturers, Scott was named President in 2002.

Chad A. Degges

After graduating with a BSME, Chad started his career with Koch Refining. He transferred to Koch Heat Transfer in 1996 and was a Thermal Design Engineer before joining Heat Transfer Specialists, Inc. in 1998.

Miles C. Freeman

With a BSMT, Miles began his career at Ingersoll-Rand in 1994 where he sold engineered compressor packages.  Miles joined Heat Transfer Specialists, Inc in 1999.

Major Clients: Mustang Engineering, Lyondell-Equistar, Alliance Engineering, CB&I, Pasadena Refining, ChevronPhillips Chemical, Enterprise Products, Kaneka.

Chris Chalmers

After graduating with a BSME, Chris worked for Ingersoll-Rand and then for Universal Compression selling engineered compressor packages to Houston area E&C’s firms and major oil & gas operating companies.  Chris joined HTS in 2001.

Major Clients: Fluor, Shell Refining, Chevron, Foster Wheeler, KBR, Valero Refining, Lyondell Basell Refining.

Brent Bentley

Univ. of Houston Class of ’82

Prior to joining HTS, Inc. in 2004, Brent spent much of his career in the Refining and Petrochemical business working for Phoenix Exchanger Works and Gulf Coast Heat Exchanger.

Major Clients: Worley Parsons, Bechtel, BP –Texas City, Valero Texas City, Oxy, Dupont, Citgo – Corpus Christi.

Betty Busch

Office Manager

Betty joined Heat Transfer Specialists, Inc. in 1983.  She is responsible for managing the information flow of the office, making for an efficiently run operation.  She also provides assistance and support for our customers, manufacturers and  salesmen, with customer service being a priority. .
